The problem we solve

You are already paying for Microsoft 365. You are probably not getting it — or securing it

Most offices buy Microsoft 365, use it for email, and stop there — then pay separately for file sharing, chat, and video tools that duplicate what the subscription already includes. That is paying twice for the same capability, every month.

The bigger problem is what the subscription is not doing: a tenant left on default settings — no enforced MFA, legacy sign-in protocols open, sharing permissions nobody has reviewed — is one of the most common ways small businesses get breached. Attackers rarely hack in anymore. They log in with a stolen password, and a misconfigured tenant lets them.

IronPoint manages the whole stack from Killeen: licenses right-sized through Pax8, migrations that land on schedule, SharePoint and Teams your staff actually use, identity locked down, and real backup behind it all. One local partner, one straight answer on what you need and what you can drop.

What you get

What you get

Licensing & management

Microsoft 365 licenses right-sized to your team and procured through Pax8. Users added and removed the day you ask — no paying for seats nobody uses.

Email & file migration

From an aging server, Google Workspace, or ISP email into Microsoft 365 — planned, staged, and cut over on a schedule your office agrees to.

SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams setup

A file structure your staff can actually find things in, permissions that make sense, and Teams configured for how your office really works.

Cloud backup for Microsoft 365

A deleted mailbox is not a backed-up mailbox. Independent backup of your email, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams data, with point-in-time restore.

Identity & tenant security

MFA enforced everywhere, conditional access rules, legacy sign-in protocols shut off — because most cloud breaches start with a stolen password, not a hack.

Good questions

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't Microsoft already back up my email?

No. Microsoft keeps the service running; protecting your data is your responsibility, and Microsoft says so in its own service agreement. Retention policies are not backup — once an item ages past its retention window, or an account is deleted, or ransomware syncs encrypted files through OneDrive, the data is gone. We add an independent backup of mail, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams so you can restore to a point in time.

Can you move us off our old server or Google Workspace?

Yes. We handle migrations from on-premises Exchange and file servers, Google Workspace, and ISP or registrar email like GoDaddy. Every migration gets a written plan: data staged ahead of time, a scheduled cutover window, and the old system kept readable until you confirm everything arrived. Mailboxes, calendars, contacts, and files all come across.

How much downtime should we expect during a migration?

For most small offices, effectively none during business hours. Files sync in the background for days before anyone switches, and the mail cutover is scheduled for an evening or weekend. Staff sign in the next morning to the same mail and files in a new home. You will get the honest timeline for your specific setup in writing before anything moves.

Do we need Microsoft 365 Business Premium?

If cyber insurance or compliance is in your picture, probably — Business Premium includes the security tools Standard lacks: device management through Intune, conditional access, and Defender for Office 365. Those map directly to what insurance carriers now ask about, like MFA and endpoint controls. But licensing can be mixed per user, and if Standard genuinely covers someone's role, we will say so.

Someone else set up our Microsoft 365. Can you fix it without starting over?

Almost always, yes — most tenants can be fixed in place. We review admin accounts, enforce MFA, shut off legacy sign-in protocols, clean up licensing, and organize sharing permissions, then document all of it. No rip-and-replace, no lost mail, and you get a plain-English list of what changed and why.
