The problem we solve

Slow Wi-Fi and mystery cables are not annoyances — they are business risks

Somewhere in your office there is a router the internet company installed years ago, a switch nobody remembers buying, and a bundle of cables no one can explain. Everything your business does — payments, phones, files, cloud apps — runs across that gear. When it slows down or drops, the whole company slows down with it.

It is a security problem too. Unmanaged networks tend to run on default passwords, skipped firmware updates, and one flat network where the guest Wi-Fi, the front-desk PC, and the server all sit side by side. That is exactly the setup that lets one compromised laptop reach everything you own.

IronPoint builds networks the boring, correct way: a business-class firewall at the edge, Wi-Fi that covers the building without dead spots, cabling that is labeled and tested, and a documented map of all of it. Designed for the office you have, managed so it keeps up with the one you are growing into.

What you get

What you get

Network design & management

A network planned around how your office actually works, then monitored and managed so it stays fast as you add people, devices, and locations.

Firewall & business Wi-Fi

A real business firewall at the edge and Wi-Fi that covers the whole building — with guest traffic walled off from company data.

Server & storage management

Your servers patched, monitored, and backed up — whether they live in a closet, a rack, or the cloud. No more hoping the box in the corner keeps humming.

Structured cabling

Clean, labeled, tested cable runs instead of the tangle behind the desk. New offices and expansions wired right the first time.

Hardware procurement

Business-grade switches, access points, and firewalls sourced through Pax8 and quoted honestly — the spec your office needs, not the biggest box on the price list.

Documentation & a real network map

Every port, device, and login documented. When something breaks or a vendor asks how you are set up, the answer takes minutes, not an archaeology dig.

The process

How it works

  1. Assess

A free, no-obligation look at where you stand — what works, what is at risk, and what it should cost.

  2. Onboard

We baseline your systems, close the obvious gaps, and document everything so nothing lives in one person’s head.

  3. Monitor & deliver

Proactive monitoring, patching, and 24/7 threat detection run in the background while you run the business.

  4. Support & improve

Fast help when you need it, plus quarterly reviews so your technology keeps up with your growth.

The difference

Good questions

Frequently asked questions

Our internet is slow. Is it the ISP or is it us?

We answer that with a test, not a guess. First we measure the speed your provider actually delivers at the modem, then measure what reaches your desks. If the ISP is short of what you pay for, you get the numbers to hold them to it. More often the bottleneck is inside the office — an ISP router doing double duty, aging switches, or overlapping Wi-Fi — and those are problems we can actually fix.

We are a small office. Do we really need a business firewall?

The router your ISP left behind is built to pass traffic, not inspect it. A business firewall filters what comes in and out, keeps guest Wi-Fi separated from company data, and produces the logs a cyber-insurance carrier or client security questionnaire will eventually ask about. Carriers already commonly require MFA and endpoint protection as a condition of coverage; a properly configured firewall belongs to the same basic standard of care — even for a five-person office.

Can you wire a new office or an expansion?

Yes. We handle structured cabling for new offices, build-outs, and expansions across Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Nolanville, Belton, and Temple — clean runs, labeled at both ends, tested, and documented. The best time to bring us in is before the drywall closes, but we also untangle existing offices where nobody knows which cable feeds what.

Do you sell hardware?

Yes — switches, access points, firewalls, servers, and workstations sourced through Pax8 and business-grade distribution. You get a written quote with honest spec advice: the equipment your office actually needs, not the most expensive thing we could sell you. No lock-in markup games either — you own the hardware and the documentation that goes with it, whether or not you stay on a management plan.

What about the server in the closet nobody touches?

First we figure out what it actually does — the answer is often 'nobody remembers.' Then you get a straight recommendation: some workloads belong in the cloud, and some are cheaper and faster staying right where they are with proper patching, monitoring, and backup. We lay out the real costs of both paths. No forced cloud migration, and no scare pitch to replace hardware that still works.
