You approve the quote before work starts — and you pay when it works.

The problem we solve

Repair without the runaround: a real quote before the work, not a bill after it

When a computer dies, the usual options are grim: mail it away and wait weeks, stand in line at a big-box counter for a tech reading from a script, or get told to just buy a new one — before anyone has actually opened the case. Meanwhile that machine holds your photos, your records, or your business.

IronPoint runs repair the way it should work: you tell us the symptoms, we diagnose the real cause, and you get a flat written quote before any work starts. Approve it, we fix it, you pay when it works. The price you agreed to is the price on the invoice — nothing gets added at pickup.

And it is the same certified technician either way. The CompTIA A+ and Security+ certified tech who manages business networks across Central Texas is the one fixing the family laptop. Office workstation or gaming rig, home or business, Killeen or Harker Heights — same up-front price, same straight answer.

What you get

What you get

PC & laptop repair

Desktops, laptops, and all-in-ones — hardware failures, boot problems, blue screens, and the machine that just will not turn on.

Virus & malware removal

Infections cleaned out fully, not just masked — plus the browser hijacks, fake tech-support pop-ups, and scareware that ride along with them.

Screen & hardware replacement

Cracked laptop screens, worn keyboards, dead power jacks, failing fans, and swollen batteries replaced with quality parts.

Data recovery & transfer

Photos, documents, and business files rescued from failing drives — or moved cleanly onto your new machine. Free diagnostic first.

Tune-ups & upgrades

SSD and RAM upgrades plus a proper tune-up — the cheapest way to make an aging machine feel new instead of buying one.

Business & residential service

Office workstations, point-of-sale machines, gaming rigs, and the family laptop all get the same certified tech and the same up-front price.

Your device stays in Central Texas — it never gets mailed across the country. Most repairs are back in your hands in 1–3 business days.

  4. Pay when it works

You test it, it works, you pay. The price you approved is the price you pay — no surprise line items at pickup.

Good questions

Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical repair take?

Most repairs are done in 1–3 business days, and you get an expected turnaround with your quote before we start — not a guess after the fact. Jobs that need ordered parts or long data-recovery runs take longer, and we say so up front. If you need a machine back fast for work, tell us and you will get a straight answer about whether that is possible.

Do you come to us, or do we come to you?

Both directions work. On-site visits cover Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Nolanville, Belton, and Temple — that is how whole-home Wi-Fi jobs and business service calls usually run. For a single desktop or laptop, drop-off or pickup is normally faster and cheaper, and many software problems can be fixed remotely anywhere in Texas. Tell us what is going on and we will recommend the cheapest option that actually solves it.

Is my data safe during a repair?

Your files stay yours. We work on the machine, not through your personal accounts — we never ask for passwords unless the repair genuinely requires signing in, and we never store them. If a job carries any risk of data loss, like a failing drive or a reinstall, you hear about it before we touch anything. The technician handling your laptop is the same Security+ certified tech who secures business networks for a living.

Should I repair it or just replace it?

Here is the math we use: when a repair would cost more than roughly half the price of a comparable replacement, we usually recommend replacing — and we tell you at the quote stage, before you have committed to anything. But plenty of machines written off as dead just need an SSD, more memory, or a proper cleaning, and come back faster than a new budget PC. Either way, you get the numbers, not a sales pitch.

Do you fix Macs and game consoles?

Yes to both. Macs: storage and memory upgrades on models that allow them, batteries, cleanups, malware removal, and data transfer. When a Mac repair only makes sense through Apple — some soldered-in parts do — we say so instead of charging you to find out. Consoles: PlayStation and Xbox deep cleaning from $79 fixes most overheating and shutdown problems, and we handle storage upgrades and drive issues too.
